Nursing students talk about air quality

On March 8th, two nursing students, Samantha DesRoches (left) and Emma Paul (right) set up at North Island College to share information on global and local air quality issues.

The project was part of their Global Health course. Emma and Sam are also members of the Comox Valley Canadian Nurses for Health & the Environment.

Thanks Emma and Sam for helping to raise awareness of the health impacts of fine particulates and wood smoke! (And thanks to Helen Boyd for the photo!)
