Questions for Candidates

It’s election time in BC and candidates will be knocking on doors and canvassing by phone.

This is a great chance to make sure our elected representatives know clean air is important to you and your family. And you can do it without even leaving home!

To help you have a discussion with the candidates, Breathe Clean Air has created a two-page handout, “Air Quality in the Comox Valley: Questions for Candidates“. It includes four possible questions, with background information.

Print it now!

Consider printing it out now and putting it by your door for when they come knocking, or by your phone in case they or their campaigners call! Or take it to an all candidates meeting!

Let us know what they said!

We’d love to hear about your conversations.

What did the candidates say to you? Did they make any promises? Did they think it was an important issue or did they play it down? Please email us and let us know!

Share!

And please share this information with others who are concerned about the air we breathe!

“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.” Margaret Mead.
